HOLY SPIRIT NETBALL CLUB INC.
2026 Season Welcome

Welcome to all our players and families - especially those new to the club!
Season Start:
Our 9 Diamonds, 9 Hearts, 9 Stars and 9 Suns will start their season tonight (right now!) and our 11s through to Opens will play tomorrow.
Fixtures:
MENA fixtures have been released, please note there are sometimes changes to courts etc in grading, so please keep an eye on the fixtures. https://menanetball.com.au/fixture/

Player & Spectator Behaviour:
A reminder, as players, coaches, parents and spectators we are representing the club, our team and ourselves at training and on game day.
MENA has Codes of Conduct that must be abided by (and that includes spectators) and can be found onour website . We expect all our spectators to be positive in their cheer towards our teams, our coaches, the opposition and umpires. A reminder that under no circumstances can a coach / parent / spectator approach an umpire (only players can to clarify a rule). If there is a concern during the game, speak to your team manager and determine if a MENA staff member should be approached to assist with the matter.
Specialist Training:
Specialist Training Sessions Specialist sessions will commence on Monday 9/2. We have created specialist training session WhattsApp groups which will ask for attendance via polls - which is needed for planning purposes.
Uniforms:
If over the summer you notice there has been a growth spurt in your child (or yourself if you are a player) and the uniform isn't fitting as it was - please head to the https://www.holyspiritnetball.com.au/shop to purchase a uniform or join the Holy Spirit second hand uniform page on facebook. At the start of the season we can have some hot weather. A reminder that there is a sun smart uniform policy and if playing outside you can wear black long-sleeved tops. For those wearing the dress, bloomers / short bike pants must be worn underneath.
MENA Club Tournament: Club Tournament Shortly there will be an Expression of Interest Form release for our 11s, 13s and 15s for the Club tournament to help us determine how many teams we enter. We are just waiting for MENA to confirm the tournament date which is set for a Sunday in late March at this stage.
Communication & Socials:
We will continue to use the WhatsApp Community Group for quick updates. Please also head to our social pages Instagram and Facebook for more updates and information. Big thank you to Lexie who has taken over the socials and is doing a great job. If you have a photo you would like posted please email socialshsnc@gmail.com. Often MENA communicates updates via social media, which we also encourage you to follow, but as a club we will endeavour to share.

A big thank you to all our Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers who have put their hand up to volunteer together with our wonderful Committee and Umpires. We could not run our club and get players on court without them all!
